GARAGE FLOORS & SLABS

Strong, smooth concrete slabs built to handle the weight of vehicles, equipment, and daily use — poured right the first time.

A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR YOUR GARAGE OR WORKSHOP

A garage slab takes more abuse than almost any other concrete surface — vehicle weight, oil spills, temperature swings, and heavy equipment. That's why proper preparation matters. We compact the sub-base, place reinforcement, and pour to the right thickness so your slab doesn't crack, sink, or heave over time.

Whether you're building a new garage, replacing a failing floor, or pouring a slab for a detached workshop or utility building — we handle it with the same care and attention to detail on every job.

  • New garage floor pours and full replacements
  • Workshop slabs and utility pads
  • Proper sub-base compaction and grading
  • Reinforced concrete for heavy loads
  • Smooth or broom finish options
  • Control joints to prevent cracking
  • Residential and light commercial projects

COMMON QUESTIONS

How thick should a garage floor slab be?

We typically pour residential garage floors at 4 inches thick with proper reinforcement. For heavier equipment, vehicles, or commercial use we recommend 5–6 inches.

Do you remove the old concrete first?

Yes — if you have an existing slab that needs replacing, we handle full demolition and haul-away before pouring the new floor.

How long before I can park in my garage?

We recommend waiting 7 days before driving on a new slab. Full cure strength is reached at 28 days, though the floor is usable for foot traffic after 24–48 hours.

Can you pour a slab for a detached garage or workshop?

Absolutely. We handle slabs for detached garages, workshops, sheds, and utility buildings of all sizes.
